![]() ![]() ![]() After maxing out TEC, some would go DEX, some would go INT & some would go VIT. There are multiple types of TEC Character. ![]() But if you want to play the whole MQ again with SKIP, then you can do so as well This is why in my MQ Walthrough, it is recommended to fill up your character slot once you finished Chapter 3/4. Note: I will be changing MQ to latest but since my main character has finished MQ, this means that I will not be able to get any EXP at all from MQ. Able to unlock more craft options on NPC: Smith (to use as gears on your TEC char, since presumably you have completed MQ).Able to farm material points easily using your farmer (As TEC char uses a lot of material points). To start, it is highly recommended to have a character of at least level 200 & a LUK Farmer. Most probably only near cap level and such will some minute changes be required depending on how you build your TEC character to be. However, as long as you read through and try to understand how a TEC character works, the base is still valid. Storyline.DISCLAIMER: The Information below is more or less true up till around June 2022 (the time I decided to stop playing Toram as information below will no longer be updated regularly.) Don't use EXP or Drop Rate Books early, you'll need them past Main Quest (MQ) a.k.a. Don't waste Reset Items, like Reset Book, Notebook or Book of Oblivion, or Extraction Crystas on Crystas that aren't worth anything, Traveller Gems are rare too, so keep them for later. Since you'll get 3 additional Character Slots, you aren't limited to what you chose right now, you can always make another Character to try it out, and this way you can delete unwanted Characters without regret, if something went wrong, like Skill and/or Stat Points distributed into the wrong Stats or Skills. Only Main Weapon Skills, Buff Skills and Others may require different Lv, like for Dual Wield (DW), using 2 OHS. The so called Tiers for Skills you can obtain are unlocked at Lv1 1st Tier, Lv30 2nd Tier, Lv70 3rd Tier and Lv150 4th Tier. Since you're new, Stat & Skill Points are very limited, that's until you reach a certain Lv, where a Reward (Emblem) is given, i.e. You shouldn't chose KN, the DMG is low even the Attack Speed (ASPD) is high, the range is very short at the beginning. You shouldn't chose HB, it's more expensive to cope with the lack of Accuracy than for other Weapons, it's difficult to learn how to use it efficiently, the DMG is good with later Skills and decent Equipment. You shouldn't chose KTN, it's Skills affect each other more than for other Weapons, it's difficult to learn how to use it efficiently, the DMG is low even the Attack Speed (ASPD) is high. It's range is wider and it's preferable for easy farming purposes but not limited to that. You can use a Magic Device (MD) if you've chosen STF. It has penalty for Skills that can cause Ailments unlike BW who get bonuses for it. You can use a Bowgun (BWG) when you've chosen BW, you can equip other Sub as Arrow too, like Dagger or Shield. You can use a Two Hand Sword (THS) when you've chosen a OHS, but with that you're unable to use a Shield or Dagger as Sub-Weapon, nevertheless DMG will be much higher. Thx]īasically you can chose what you want, One Hand Sword (OHS), Bow (BW), Staff (STF), Knuckles (KN), Katana (KTN) or Halberd (HB), but. You're talking to a new player without any knowledge, so pls, be mindful and don't use just shorts for Skills and other important things. ![]()
